What Is Wrong With Nigeria Educational System?!!

Current situations and happenings in Nigeria has made it very difficult to be proud citizen. The educational system of Nigeria is supposed to help create and produce skilled and productive citizens but with its current state i fear an abysmal future.
Nigeria is not that underdeveloped, we are a country blessed with so many resources and amenities, our problem is presumed to be lack of good management of those blessings especially by the Government.
It is a disappointment that not even a single Nigerian university is among the 6,000 acknowledged universities in the world, due to the mismanagement of the country's resources, the educational standards of Nigeria is plummeting, citizens are being forced to seek education in foreign countries.

Furthermore, those who are privileged and fortunate spend a lot of money just for the purpose of gaining a certificate and job opportunities. Most of the time issues and problems other than learning and cost of living are faced by these people, especially racism, many Nigerians overseas in countries such as Malaysia, USA, Germany, Brazil, Algeria and many more face these problem of racism.
Several reports has been made about the harassment and Mal-treatment of blacks by security agents in foreign countries, it is presumed that blacks are genetically inferiors, and only fit to be hewers of woods and drawers of water. This is why many Nigerians who seek education overseas especially in far eastern countries face the issues of racism and discrimination among other problems.
Even the Nigerian embassies are of no help to these citizens as they in most cases, deny offering help or demand money. This has emanated requests for these embassies to be shut down, as they are useless and are a kind of institutions only meant to siphon money in the name of diplomatic appointments. Citizens overseas are pleading for these issues to be looked into, as it has been reported that Nigerians are been killed in Malaysia and the cases covered up. Moreover, research has shown that over 400 Nigerians are in Brazil jail and 500 in Algeria, but these are just among the many consequences faced by citizens who seek education or means of living in a foreign country.
However, this wouldn't be an issue if there's good leadership to help enforce a functional system of education, economy, health facilities, securities and abundant job opportunities in the country, because with the provision and availability of these, Nigerians will stay home, and hopefully put Nigeria among the acknowledged countries in education.
